Our history

A young couple from northern Italy arrived in Positano and were instantly captivated by its beauty, its vibrant atmosphere, and the warmth of its people. What was meant to be a holiday soon became a dream: one day, they would return.

A few years later, they found the perfect place. A spectacular piece of land overlooking Li Galli and Capri, with private access to the sea. It was here that La Villa was born, designed as a family home where loved ones could gather and create lasting memories.

Life at the Villa followed the rhythm of the Amalfi Coast. Sunny days spent swimming in crystal-clear waters, long lunches under the Mediterranean sun, and unforgettable evenings watching the sunset with friends, a glass of Champagne, and the owner's beloved Parmigiano cheese.

As Positano became one of Italy's most glamorous destinations, the villa found itself surrounded by extraordinary stories. Across the bay stood Franco Zeffirelli's famous residence, while artists, musicians, actors, and dreamers were drawn to the same enchanting landscape that had inspired the Villa's founders years before.

More than a holiday home, La Villa became a place where friendships were celebrated and family traditions were passed down. From sunset aperitifs on the terrace to quiet moments in the gardens, every corner holds a cherished memory.

Now lovingly cared for by the family's heirs, La Villa remains true to its original spirit. Its terraces, gardens, and private sea access continue to offer guests the same sense of wonder that first captured the hearts of its founders more than sixty years ago.
